Warm Up:
- 5 minutes of light cardio (jogging on the treadmill or cycling on a stationary bike)
- 10 bodyweight squats
- 10 push ups
- 10 lunges (5 on each leg)
- 10 shoulder rolls (forward and backward)
Strength Training:
- 3 sets of 12-15 dumbbell bench press
- 3 sets of 12-15 bent over dumbbell rows
- 3 sets of 12-15 shoulder press
- 3 sets of 12-15 bicep curls
- 3 sets of 12-15 tricep dips
- 3 sets of 12-15 leg press
Core:
- 3 sets of 12-15 sit ups
- 3 sets of 12-15 Russian twists
- 3 sets of 12-15 bicycle crunches
Cardio:
- 20 minutes of high intensity interval training (HIIT) on the treadmill or stationary bike
Stretch:
- Hold each stretch for 30 seconds
- Downward facing dog
- Forward fold
- Pigeon pose
- Child's pose
Remember to listen to your body and adjust the number of sets and reps as needed. It's important to start at a level that is challenging, but manageable, and gradually increase the intensity as you become stronger. Be sure to hydrate before and during your workout, and don't forget to cool down and stretch after your session.
